Simple Rule to Earn More Money

For Both Entrepreneurs and Employees

Do you know the law of the Customer?

According to Brian Tracy, this law states that every customer wants to get the highest possible value for the least amount of money paid.

In short, everyone wants to maximize the value for money!

So how can you use it to earn more money?

Simple, you need to get really good at conveying the benefits of your product and services and their perceived value with respect to the market.

Always be thinking from the lens of the customer — what’s in it for them? Whether you are an entrepreneur trying to acquire more customers/VC capital or an ambitious corporate soul, look at your work from the opposite perspective.

No one will give you a promotion because you slave 60+ hours working on crazy deadlines. No one will buy your product even if it is better than anything else on the market. Results and perceived value (real or imaginary) matter!

You get a promotion because the project you pulled off brought in sales/customer appreciation/awards. You get sales because an influencer raves about your product or it solves a costly problem. No one negotiates rates with a cardiologist, but people will price compare for a $25 generic pedometer! Aim to be a valuable cardiologist!

I recently wrote about finding your moat for new writers — the concept is very much applicable to people who want to grow their net worth and income potential. Read on here…
