BBC Cruise

So we find ourselves on the Pacific Dawn for a Boys Booze Cruise or BBC as a fitting way to farewell Luke from our fair shores, to commiserate Tim’s loss of bachelor life (to be honest he never really had it as he has been madly in love with Katrina for so long now...), and Zac is just up for a good time any time.

Watching the 3 boys together I laugh as a rebalancing of childhood pecking orders plays out amongst them along with the adult banter of mateship, and feel a sense of great pride in the men they have become.

Like any parent I wonder how did we get here? Where did those little boys go? It seems like one day we are teaching our kids how to tie their shoes, then suddenly we are watching them get ready for marriage, to move overseas or graduate from Uni.

They say you can choose your friends but you can’t choose your family…, thats not true! Yes these guys are my sons but more than that they are my mates... and for that I’m grateful.
